PEOC &#8211; Pediatric Exercise Oncology Congress (online) am 7. und 8. April 2022 ein voller Erfolg war. An dem ersten internationalen Kongress, der sich auf k\u00f6rperliche Aktivit\u00e4t und Bewegung f\u00fcr Kinder und Jugendliche w\u00e4hrend und nach einer Krebsbehandlung konzentrierte, nahmen 340 Teilnehmer*innen sowie 31 Referent*innen aus \u00fcber 20 L\u00e4ndern und allen f\u00fcnf Kontinenten teil. Der Kongress verfolgte die Ziele:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-782221f elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"782221f\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-505a3fe\" data-id=\"505a3fe\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-53f5a08 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"53f5a08\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li style=\"font-size: 19.2px;\">die Bewegungswissenschaftler*innen in der p\u00e4diatrischen Onkologie zu vernetzen,<\/li><li style=\"font-size: 19.2px;\">Erfahrungen und wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse auszutauschen und<\/li><li>die Sichtbarkeit dieses wichtigen Bereichs zu erh\u00f6hen.<\/li><\/ul><div>\u00a0<\/div><p>Dieser interaktive Kongress wurde vom Netzwerk ActiveOncoKids, dem Universit\u00e4tsklinikum Essen, dem Health and Wellness Lab der University of Calgary und dem iPOEG-Netzwerk organisiert und brachte Wissenschaftler*innen aus der ganzen Welt zusammen. Beim Social gathering am Abend (bzw. Alle registrierten Teilnehmer*innen haben nun die M\u00f6glichkeit, sich die Sessions 6 Monate lang auf Abruf noch einmal anzusehen. Peter Weeber gewinnt den YIA<\/h3><p>Peter Weeber vom Lehrstuhl f\u00fcr Kinderheilkunde und Kinderkrebsforschung der TUM School of Medicine und dem Lehrstuhl f\u00fcr Sport- und Gesundheitswissenschaften der Technischen Universit\u00e4t M\u00fcnchen konnte die Jury mit seinem Beitrag &#8222;A bout of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) in children and adolescents during acute cancer treatment &#8211; A feasibility study&#8220; \u00fcberzeugen. F\u00fcr seine wissenschaftlichen Leistungen beim 1. PEOC wurde er mit dem von der IST-Hochschule gesponserten Young Investigator Award ausgezeichnet.
