The nationwide network ActiveOncoKids pursues the main goal of enabling exercise programs for children, adolescents, and young adults during and after cancer. To this end, we work and cooperate with partners and network members (locations) in an interdisciplinary team in a transparent and consensus-oriented manner.

Therefore, the goal of returning to school and/or club sports after a cancer diagnosis should be actively pursued, and is also reflected as a clearly defined right, including in mandatory physical education in schools. Learn more about sports in pediatric oncology.
